 | Well I can see the heaven's inching closer everyday and that only can mean one thing! OU is coming down to the state they despise to play the pride of Texas the Longhorns that is; and what a joyess occasion. This game though on paper looks like a shot at a Big 12 Championship game is much bigger to the residents of both states ever single year. What is so big about these two teams meeting? Well when Ohio State and Michigan play the fans boo the other teams fans and at the end of the game you say oh well it was a good game. But with Texas and the state of Oklahoma its more it's which state is better, who can produce the best kids, and who is the true football state!! See in Ohio State and even Michigan or whoever else you want to throw in there its kids from everywhere in the US. However the only kids that play for the Sooners and Longhorns are from the respected states which hate the other with a pure and unhinged hate. See in the eyes and minds of Texans the Sooners can win with OK. kids but can't be great without Texas kids. Who's the prime example you ask.......Adrian Peterson Texan born and raised wanted to attend Texas but win OU won the Shoot-Out he became a trader! See there's more at state then a win or loss but Prospects and dont be a coach at either school with a 11-1 record with a loss to other for you are a nobody and can't win anything to the Alumi and supporters of your school. What do you not believe me just ask Mack Brown about what was said in 2004 for if not a loss to OU who would of played USC?? Do you got it yet? Everybody says that their rivialry is the biggest but does your team turn your back on a winning coach if he can't win it?? No look a Michigan 1-6 agianst Ohio State but not until a 7-5 year do they tell him to shape-up. Try that at OU or Texas and see if your life is not bombarded with good season with the big bowl win coach but um what happened in the OU game? And remember if you don't win this one the eyes of 2 football engulfed states are looking at you as a loser until you win and you better win the next year!!!
